The SeekProject is an art and design lifestyle brand based in Lagos, Nigeria. The SeekProject is an avenue for us as artists to constantly look at ways to get our art perspective out to the open and to add more art to the world. Its a platform for self initiated and commisioned work, creative independence and growth.

The Seekproject is also a path for us to collaborate with other artists and brands ( brand partnerships) that have values and culture similar to ours.

Presently, what we do cover these areas: print Media, Illustration, Murals, logo and identity design, apparel and Footwear design.

The SeekProject is currently manned by Karo Akpokiere.

 

We respect, admire and look up to The Hundreds, Johhnny Cupcakes, Takashi Murakami, Keith Haring, dope Graffiti artists, the Monorex crew, Shepard Fairey, Joshua Smith, MWM Graphics, Yemi Afolabi(furniture maker), Autograph Apparel, Marc Ecko, Nate Williams e.t.c.

We have a bent for urban contemporary culture. An artform that is influenced by but not limited to Hip hop culture and all or some of its elements( graffiti art, deejaying etc), digital technology, cartoons, advertising, comics, logo design, accessibility, sneakers, tee shirt design, mass and limited production and individualism.
